HUMBLEMAKER COFFEE | DEL REY, CA

Mar Ventures — a real estate developer and asset management company that focuses on the redevelopment of underutilized properties  — approached UrbanBloc to build a container that could accommodate all-day food and beverage service at a creative office campus that was under construction. In order to appeal to prospective tenants, the campus offers many attractive amenities to tenants and their employees, including the central outdoor courtyard with all-day food service.

We worked with the developer and operator, Humblemaker Coffee, to design a combination food and beverage space consisting of a bar with beer on tap, wines and bottled beverages, a walk-in cooler for beer kegs, and an adjoining cafe to provide coffee, pastries, sandwiches, and salads. The entire combination fit snugly into a 40’ container. In addition to enhancing the office complex, Humblemaker Coffee was able to add a second location to grow and expand its brand.
