BMO STADIUM | LOS ANGELES, CA

In 2018, BMO soccer stadium (formerly Banc of California Stadium) was completed in order to host the Los Angeles Football Club, or LAFC expansion team. In addition to the state-of-the-art stadium designed by Gensler, the plans included a container bar and ice cream shop at the Northwest entrance.

UrbanBloc collaborated with SF Jones Architecture to design the upscale retail space that is surrounded by a deck and seating area so that fans can meet and enjoy a cold glass of beer, margarita, or a soft serve ice cream cone prior to entering the stadium. The compact layout includes an open bar with beer on tap and an enclosed soft-serve ice cream space in addition to a walk-in cooler and back-of-house area. The entire project, from start of design to delivery, was less than five months and was completed in time for the stadium’s ribbon-cutting ceremony.
